USER-ORIENTED
In today’s laboratory approximately 40-60% and in some instances up to 95% of specimens are endoscopic biopsies (prostate, gastro-intestinal). Handling of these small specimens (3-20 mm) takes place in large, bulky grossing stations designed for very large surgical samples.

Fumes Filterbox Kit with HEPA filter suitable for Workstation Systems, including 4 Activated Charcoal Filters, 1 Prefilter and 1 HEPA Filter.

Applications:

The Filterbox is specially designed to remove formaldehyde vapors and other low molecular weight aldehydes through chemical absorption. 
Global efficiency of HEPA H14 = 99,995%
Efficiency of activated carbon filter for formalin = 70%.

ULTRASAFE

Automated formalin dosing system, for safe, standardized and documented biospecimens’ transport

UltraSAFE is Milestone’s solution to formaldehyde reclassification. Using a unique, patent applied for, technology, different sized buckets are automatically filled with formalin in the “Dirty Room”, which preserves the biospecimen in fixative right after the surgical excision. This allows for total operator safety, assuring a formalin-free OR environment.
